PRIVACY POLICY FOR CANVAS MAKER

Effective Date: August 30, 2026

Last Updated: August 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Canvas Maker (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the App.

By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. INFORMATION PROCESSED BY THE APP

Photos and Videos

The App allows you to select photos and videos from your device to preview visual effects and create exported videos.

Selected media is processed locally on your device. We do not operate a server that receives, stores, or uploads your photos or videos.

The App accesses only the media you select or permit through Apple’s system photo picker and photo library permissions. An exported video is saved to your photo library only when you choose to export it.

Purchase Information

The App offers optional subscriptions and a one-time purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and managed using RevenueCat.

Apple and RevenueCat may process information necessary to provide and verify purchases, including:

• Purchased product and subscription status

• Purchase, renewal, expiration, cancellation, refund, and restoration information

• Apple transaction or receipt information

• A randomly generated anonymous App User ID

• Device type, operating system, app version, locale, currency, and similar technical information

• Internet Protocol address and connection information required to provide their services

The App does not require you to create an account. The anonymous App User ID is not created from your name or email address.

Information Stored on Your Device

The App may store settings and preferences locally, including:

• Onboarding and personalization choices

• Selected genre, goal, and visual mood

• Saved custom presets

• Effect configurations

• Purchase entitlement information cached by RevenueCat

• General app preferences

This information remains on your device unless it must be communicated to Apple or RevenueCat to provide purchase functionality.

2. HOW INFORMATION IS USED

Information is used only when reasonably necessary to:

• Load and process the media you select

• Preview and render visual effects

• Remember your preferences and saved presets

• Display available purchase options and localized prices

• Complete, verify, and restore purchases

• Determine whether PRO features are active

• Prevent fraud and maintain purchase security

• Diagnose purchase-related problems

• Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use your photos, videos, or purchase information to create advertising profiles.

3. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT

The App does not require or intentionally collect:

• Your name

• Your email address

• Your telephone number

• Your physical address

• Precise or approximate location

• Contacts or address book information

• Health or fitness information

• Financial account or payment card details

Apple handles information according to its own privacy policy:

https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

RevenueCat

The App uses RevenueCat to load products, manage purchases, verify subscription status, restore purchases, and determine whether PRO access is active.

RevenueCat may process anonymous identifiers, purchase history, Apple receipt information, device and operating-system information, app usage timestamps related to purchase services, and technical connection information on our behalf.

Limited information may be shared with Apple and RevenueCat only as necessary to process purchases, restore purchases, verify PRO access, prevent fraud, provide technical support, and comply with legal requirements.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the App, or others.

7. DATA RETENTION

Photos and videos selected in the App are processed on your device and are not retained on developer-operated servers.

Saved presets, settings, and preferences remain on your device until you delete them, clear the App’s data, or uninstall the App.

Exported videos remain in your photo library until you delete them through the Photos app.

Apple and RevenueCat may retain purchase and transaction records for the periods required to provide their services, prevent fraud, maintain accounting records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Their retention practices are governed by their respective privacy policies.

8. DATA DELETION AND YOUR CHOICES

You can stop the App from accessing your photo library by changing its permissions in your device’s Settings app.

You can delete saved presets from within the App. You can remove other locally stored information by deleting the App from your device. Exported videos must be deleted separately from your photo library.

You can manage or cancel an active subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings:

https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions

Deleting the App does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

For questions or requests concerning purchase information processed through RevenueCat, contact us using the App Support link on the App Store product page or the contact option on the website where this Privacy Policy is published. We may need limited transaction information to locate the relevant anonymous purchase record.

Apple may retain transaction records that cannot be deleted by the App developer.

9. DATA SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information handled through the App.

Media processing occurs on your device, which limits unnecessary transmission of your content. However, no electronic system or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. INTERNATIONAL DATA PROCESSING

Apple and RevenueCat may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, these providers use legal safeguards for international data transfers as described in their privacy policies.

11. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The App is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly request names, email addresses, or other direct contact information from children.

Purchases are processed through Apple and may be subject to Apple ID parental controls, Ask to Buy, and other family purchase settings.

If you believe information relating to a child has been processed improperly, contact us through the App Support link on the App Store product page.

The App does not upload your photos or videos to the webpage hosting this Privacy Policy.

13. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, applicable laws, or third-party services change.
